The room was an odd shape with a low portion to the ceiling which limited the room space. The room had a solid window which was falling off its’ hinges and would not remain secure. The breakfast was very good with a very pleasant and helpful staff.
A very good area and well situated near the bars and restaurants with every culinary tastes catered for from traditional Dutch food to a wide range of staple restaurants. The staff were very friendly and professional and helpful, and very knowledgeable of the sites and areas to visit.
The Hotel was in the middle of everything. Easily walkable to everything you wanted to go too. The staff was very helpful and willing to answer any questions you may have. I highly recommend anyone to stay here.
Friendly and welcoming staff.
Nice, clean room.
The hotel is located in a quiet area but close to several major tourist attractions.
The breakfast was above average, and there was a wide selection to choose from.
Parking close by.
This darling boutique hotel is in the perfect location. Everything is within walking distance or the tram stations are close as well. It is affordable with a friendly, helpful staff. They offer a great breakfast buffet. I thought it was a little pricey - 26.00EUR, but it has a wonderful selection.
Positives - An excellent location, close to museums and the center. Clean room and clean bedding. Negative -We were given a room in the basement, it was very noisy as next to the lift shaft. The bathroom smelled like drains sewer which permeated the room. No room cleaning or fresh towels until I went to the front desk. Apparently you must request a servicing of your room. First night very cold and wet, no heating in the room. Second night heat came on.
We loved this property great friendly staff and jango the dacshund loved it too nothing to fault very central to everything without being in the middle of it see you again

Nice hotel and friendly staff. Location close to vondel park and museum quarter. Tram to city within 5 minute walk. Room was small and the air con was leaking leaving the carpet wet. Reported it to reception on departure so hopefully the next quests do not have the same issue. Overall good stay.
After my first night, I discovered that the air conditioning was leaking, and the floor was wet. I also noticed mold on the wall. When I informed the staff about these issues and requested a change of rooms, they informed me that there was nothing they could do but send in a maintenance man. However, it wasn’t until I called Expedia customer support that my problem was resolved. The manager of the hotel was very kind and offered me a complimentary breakfast while I waited for a new room.
What we needed was heat, and found out it was a window unite so in order to use it you have to pull the drapes open so the unit doesn’t burn the curtains, and we were there on the 1st floor, so there was a privacy problem.
Breakfast was fantastic
Nice place with excellent breakfast bar. City is doing underground utilities work along the street so, If you want to take nice picture, forget it! Air conditioning struggles, That said, I'd stay there again in a heart beet.
We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Perfectly located, you can get anywhere by foot. I look forward to staying there again next time I'm in Amsterdam!
