"We loved our stay. Roger and Fabiola (and Scott) were lovely to work with. The house is fabulous - the pool is lovely and the ability to walk to the lagoon to snorkel everyday was our favorite! There are restaurants about 10 min up the road but everything else is a bit of drive. We really enjoyed La buena vida in Akumal - good food great beach view! We had a wonderful time! "

"The villa is run down - as we expected from previous reviews, but I think it's reasonably priced considering when it's a large group. I'm not sure the pool area is safe, or how clean the kitchen is but we had a nice time. Leo was really lovely and it gets the stars because of him. It's a shame the owners don't invest in fixing things up and investing in it because it has a lot of potential. "

"We just got back from our stay and every single person was blown away. The venue is absolutely stunning with great event space, beach access, the perfect party pool, rooftop views, etc. The best part though for our large group was food. Not having to move our big group around to restaurants relieved so much stress and the food from the chef was some of the best we have ever had. We also had the chef cater our wedding and every single person was blown away. I truly cannot say enough good things...

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was gorgeous and located in a very quiet neighborhood. We loved being able to swim in Yalku Lagoon, especially in the mornings and evenings when no one was around. The staff was great, as well! We will definately be back."

"My family of 4 stayed here for Spring Break and had a wonderful time. The house is comfortable, clean and well located. Akumal itself is charming with some shops and fun restaurants in walking distance. We ventured out by car for most activities - Beach Club, Mayan Ruins, Snorkeling, etc and found Akumal to be well located along the coast between Tulum and Playa del Carmen. We would easily stay here again!"

"Our family of 15–ages 14 to 80–had a fabulous time at the Villa Turquesa. The home was perfect for a big family. It is well equipped, clean and comfortable. The staff is delightful and kept the place sparkling clean and in perfect working order. There is snorkel equipment and plenty of kayaks to make exploring the reef a pleasure. Our kids and grands said out of 27 years of family trips, this one rates up in the top 3! "
