"It’s an amazing looking hotel, lots of period features in the main building and nice views over the gardens. Our room was in the ‘new’ block. It was a good size, bed was comfortable, kettle, iron ironing board hair-drier all there. It did feel a bit tired though, especially the bathroom and it took a couple of attempts to get the shower hot. But it all seemed clean and for the price we paid I was happy enough"

"Shower didn’t work and sink was blocked in the room. Some of the waiters needed more training in the dining room. Other than that fine."
