"Friendly and welcoming staff at hotel reception but somewhat rude at the hotel restaurant. We stayed over the weekend and it was really noisy at night because of the restaurants around and loud hotel guests. The gym is tiny and in the basement, next to the restaurant bathrooms; it turned me down to use it. Getting in and out of the parking is a hurdle since you have to get the access code to the garage elevator from the Vine hotel. Overall, it is an instagrammable hotel but not one I will return...

"The stay was a romantic getaway. The hotel has a great location I would definitely go back but only in the summer time. The biggest attraction are the natural pools which were closed due to weather. "We had a fantastic stay! The staff were super friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious and spotless, with views over the sea - beautiful! The hotel is located near lots of great restaurants and has a bus stop nearby to easily get around Funchal. The car park is fairly small but we had no issues finding a space for three nights. We'd definitely recommend the hotel."

Hotel is situated on the promenade of Ponta Da Sol and takes up about 2/3rds of it. It’s been built in a sympathetic style to fit in with the local area.
