"The first thing to mention is that this property is on 3 floors. There are 30 very steep, very narrow, stairs between the ground floor and the top bedroom. Although it does indeed sleep 6 people, having 3 double beds, the bed in the attic room is half under the eaves of the roof and you must bend double to get in and risk knocking yourself out to get there. None of the upstairs windows open. We tried every window on the upper 2 floors and were unable to budge one. The larger of the 2 bedrooms on...

"We went for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. Also a surprise of other family members oo which were kept secret. The staff were brilliant and so helpful and thoughtful. Food was great and could cater for 2 coeliacs too. They made my parents special occasion one to remember 💗 Location brilliant park and ride into Whitby so easy. "A nice place in a great location just a 5 minute walk from Grosmont Station. Its not a modern hotel, and rooms are not soundproofed so you can expect to overhear other guests coming and going. The showers are difficult to set to the right heat and are affected by other people using water. A bit of modernisation would help. Decor in room dated and could do with refreshing but otherwise, a nice friendly place to spend a few nights. "
