"Booked a Deluxe room which was spacious and comfortable. Disappointed there was no fridge or safe in the room, but there was plenty of coffee/tea options (as with all hotels not enough milk) and biscuits/chocolates. Shower was big and water pressure good with plenty of hot water. We didn’t eat at the hotel as there were so many restaurants & cafes nearby. Within walking distance of shops and attractions. "Hotel is clean but starting to feel a little tired, although not a reason not to stay. The amenities in the room were great with safe, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, trouser press, and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The bed was comfortable but pillows weren't great. There is plenty of space in the car park but the barriers are closed at 11pm meaning it cannot be accessed from both sides and it was not clear how to get in after this time. It would have been useful to know this before...

"We arrived while the hotel was under construction so skips, unfinished work being carried out, the hotel does have character being an building inside does need attention carpets, replacement of spindles on the stairwell our room did need work in the bathroom (toilet flush loose new grouting needed ) and the floor boards very noisy when walking on them ( making it annoying for the people underneath) the garden does need attention (looking tied) the staff were friendly and the lady at reception...
