"Lovely setting, modern look looks like he has had an upgrade over the past few years. Staff accommodating, clean room just choose a room away from the lifts as i changed rooms on my 2nd night as near the lift does get noisy. Apart from that overall nice stay near the town and malls. "

"Room clean and basic. No drawer or wardrobe space so think it is better for no more than a nights stay. We stayed two nights and the bed was comfy and we had a great sleep. However, the bathroom can’t fit two people in it so expect to wait for a space to brush your teeth!"

"The room was clean, although the bathroom was on the small size. Didn’t use the swimming pool as It was too busy for the time we wanted to go. The car didn’t have much selection of beers on tap, but most Hotels don’t for some reason."

"Room clean .No charging points on sockets for phones etc. Staff generally helpful and well turned out. Food: gtasty and well presented and reasonably priced BUT only scrambled eggs on the breakfast menu!!! The help yourself breakfast menu is NOT appreciated by most guests in my experience. The toaster doesn't really work and the food in the heated trays is generally luke- warm by the time guests have got their own tea toast etc and returned to the table. Confusion amongst staff and customers re price of drinks at Happy Hour: drinks should be half price not two for one. Then everyone would understand the system and singles would not be forced to have two drinks when they only wanted one. "

"Bed was comfortable, room was spotlessly clean. However the general appearance was of a very tierd decorations, fixtures and fittings. Needs an upgrade. "

"Very convenient location with on-site parking for £7 which I thought was good value. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was perfect for what we needed. It’s an old building so the floorboards creak a bit but it was a warm room with hot water and clean towels. We were at the front of the building so could hear street noise, it didn’t bother us but if you want a quiet room ask for one at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice. Only downfall was the mattress sunk on the left. We mentioned it to reception on our departure otherwise a very pleasant stay and we will definitely return."
