After reading all the negative reviews, I was pleasantly surprised with the hotel. Sure it's a bit run down and dated but the staff, our room (premier room) and location was fantastic. Money does need to be spent on modernising the hotel, but the rooms and public areas were very clean. We were made to feel welcome at all times, and our extra requests were always met with a smile. We never had a problem with towels, toiletries, water, tea etc being replenished every day like some of the other posts. It is only a 3 star hotel so don't expect 5 star for the price you pay. I have stayed in a lot worse hotels than this!

"A nice hotel in walking distance to several things"
My friend and I had a wonderful time at Sky Express. We stayed for 3 nights here. The staff was really friendly and our room was wonderful. We stayed in a twin room, very spacious. Fairly easy place to get to. We took the Star Shuttle bus from the KLIA2 airport to Puduraya/Pudu Station (10 MYR there and 12 MYR to get back to the airport) and then walked to the hotel (about 10 min away). *There are other ways to get to the hotel.
The room has all the basic amenities a hotel would provide (closet, refridgerator, tv, safe, etc.). We're not sure if the bathroom's fan was not working or if they didn't have one. We just left the bathroom door open to ventilate and dry, which was fine. The main lights are the dimmed lights behind the bed, this took some getting use to.
Depending on what you want to do in Kuala Lumpur, we highly recommend this place. We walked everywhere. We used the MRT only on two occasions (Batu Caves and Little India). Lots of great things to do around the area: Chinatown (Petaling St.), Central Market, temples, mosques (masjid), KL tower, Petronas Twin Towers (30 min walk), Bukit Bintang walk/shopping area, and lots of delicious food to try. If you like Indian food, there's a 24 hour restaurant right by the hotel. The hotel also has room service. There's also a Subway and 7-Eleven next to the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay and loved our time in Kuala Lumpur.

Was on a short getaway for 3D2N.
Finding the hotel was easy as it's quietly tucked at the corner along Jalan Bukit Bintang. Staff was friendly and efficient during the checking in and out process; could see that they have all the expected guests' bookings ready. Was done in less than 5 minutes for both checking in and out.
Booked the standard room with two single beds. Room was basic but comfortable and clean with some toiletries; good considering the price paid. Despite the minimal amenities, the stay was comfortable enough. Hot shower is available for the room booked.
Can't open my room on the 2nd day with the card but staff was friendly and quick to fix the issue.
This hotel is perfect for those:
- staying for a few nights in KL;
- would like reasonable hotel price for a 3 star hotel which provides basic but comfortable room;
- who would like shop at places such as Low Yat Plaza, Sungei Wang and Berjaya Times Square.
Lot 10, Fahrenheit 88 and Pavilion are within walking distance as well.
Overall, hotel exceeds expectations for a 3 star hotel - will stay again.
