Lovely dog friendly pub with rooms. Dog walk from car park into field behind. Very friendly staff and delicious food. Very clean, fresh bed linen. Great stop off. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.

Stayed in New Years Eve. Despite being fun off their feet, the staff were polite and service was good. The lady in charge was extremely busy ensuring everything went smoothly. The food was delicious. Very comfy beds. Would recommend.

Great value, charming hotel, bed extremely comfortable Would certainly visit again

Great Pub vibe, staff are all friendly and helpful. food is fantastic, rooms have everything you need and at a reasonable price definitely recommend 👌

Excellent pub hotel in perfect location in centre of town. Thank you to Steve the Manager for warm welcome, hospitality and advice/tips. Would definitely stay again.

Very good value for money. Breakfast was excellent and included in the price.

Overnight stay on our way back from Cornwall. Nice old pub, much bigger than expected. Popular with locals and bikers. Large outdoor seating area. Very friendly welcome and quick check in. Our room was on the busy road side but excellent soundproofing windows. No problems at all with the twin en-suite. Good choice of food in the restaurant at reasonable prices. Staff very attentive but not too intrusive. The full English breakfast was superb! I would definitely recommend this venue.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Saul Farm. Our bedroom and bathroom were stunning and immaculately clean. Yet there was a relaxed and homely feel about the place which was just what we needed. Nice to meet the dogs. The breakfast table was beautifully laid and the variety of food that was served up to us was a real treat! (Yogurt with fresh fruit ,cereals, a wonderful full English breakfast, toast, sweet pastries etc plus drinks.) We appreciated the friendly conversation and were made to feel...

Wonderful stay for a quick weekend. Really friendly, food amazing, just nice. Thanks guys, will be back.

Lovely hotel welcoming staff great decor comfy beds

Absolutely wonderful stay. We were made to feel so welcome and well cared for. After letting the team know about our special dietary requirements (gluten-free), the manager was outstanding in ensuring we were fully accommodated — to the point that the service surpassed what I’ve experienced in some so-called 5-star hotels. A special mention to Evie, who was an absolute delight. Our room was clean and beautifully presented — a testament to excellent housekeeping.

This was an excellent accidental find!! The place was beautiful, the room was really cosy and comfortable. The owners were really friendly people who obviously work exceptionally hard to make your stay as comfortable as possible! We will definitely be back!!

Friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room. The spa was nice.

The size and comfort of the beds. Nice bed linen. Staff very friendly and helpful, particularly the staff at breakfast. In the morning you need people who are of a happy personality to get you through the day. (well I do!) To get breakfast (buffet style) included in the price is extremely good. Thank you.

Great stay. Opposite Matara wedding venue so great for that. Clean room, nice breakfast next morning and friendly staff.

Nothing is too much trouble for the hosts. Spotlessly clean with a delicious breakfast. Very comfortable stay. Thank you.
