"Lovely place to stay. We actually added another 2 nights it was so relaxing. Elenor on reception was very helpful. Only criticism was the food in restaurant wasn’t up to much, staff didn’t know whose table ordered what. We were told not to start eating in case it was someone else’s! Total lack of staff, that’s my only complaint. Could never get through on the phone, just rang off the hook."

"Lovely hotel, restaurant staff & food top notch. Reception staff a bit iffy (depends who’s on, some good, one not so good).. but overall didn’t spoil our stay. Bathroom looked a bit tired. No bath robe, which I would expect in a hotel of this calibre. Went to a friend’s wedding. The hotel was close. Dog friendly. And made it easy to enjoy the wedding. I would recommend this hotel "

"The reception were very helpful with finding a suitable room for us as my husband has reduced mobility . Amelia was a lovely , waitress . Staff were so pleasant , room in main building spacious with a pretty view. Buffet breakfast was very good and gardens are beautiful . Terrace outside is gorgeous in the sunshine . "
