Corners cut not reflected on price.
Positive Good location (an hour's drive out of Cardiff. Plenty of space to park. Very little traffic noise. Friendly staff. Decent size room. Bed was comfy. Negative Wi-Fi kept dropping out. Poor build quality. Modern walk-in shower (no door) leaked onto floor. Shower tray creaking. Super-saver low quality loo roll. Noisy floorboards. Every step above sounded like they were coming through the ceiling. No soap in the basin dispenser. No facecloth. Superficially nice but lacked solidity.
