"Nice to have free tea and coffee at the reception also a kitchen guests can use, been a long time since had to use shared toilets and shower but overall a lick of paint in the rooms would help great location for getting to the great northern run"

I had a comfortable room with a good firm mattress, a top-opening window, and no noise from other guests (but it might be noisy at weekends). Breakfast can be bought for as little as £3 (for beans on toast) or £5 (full cooked breakfast). The breakfast coffee was very poor but at those prices I could not complain. If you want more choice there are some high-quality cafes on Brentwood Avenue just one Metro stop away.

If you are going to Newcastle, just book this place. Its 5 min walk from the station and so central for the nightlife. Great pub underneath and food options everywhere.
The apartment was clean and well laid out, the communication from Gary was spot on. Dont think, just book it.

Great location, affordable apartment for a large group. Metro link directly outside the door to connect you to Newcastle. Apartment in great condition and would recommend this place.
Check in was difficult as you need to communicate with host over phone to retrieve the code to access the key but apart from that it was great.
Security deposit usually scares me from booking with places as i have been scammed before but rest assured there is no scamming here, with the host very kind when spoke...

Lovely pub and rooms in the centre of Hexham. Host / landlord was super helpful. Rooms were very clean & well appointed- eg lots of power sockets etc. Would highly recommend and would stay again.
