"The check in and check out times of 5.00pm and 9.00am respectively struck me as rather restrictive. However, the owner, Sara, was most accommodating in allowing us to check in at 3.00pm. It was appreciated. The room was very comfortable and everything a guest needs was to be found, from plush dressing gowns, for wearing when going to the toilet which was not en suite per se, but next to the bedroom we stayed in, to slippers, a hair dryer and a mirror, to an iron and ironing board. Even the mugs...

"Very nice and cozy bedroom at the top floor of the building. everything was clean and cozy! Surrounding area does not allow you to park. Check out: no instruction on where to leave the keys... Overall, I would very recommend it!"

"Newly renovated and very up to date. Breakfast perfect choices. Bit daunting by self check in but no issues. Only downsides were the walk from The Ridgeway down a busy road (hotel can’t help that!), and that there was no food in the evening (but crockery provided if takeaway ordered ( leaflets provided))."

"Loved Woodstock. Excellent small Town to stay and very near to Blenheim Palace. B & B was good overall. Great breakfast. Room could have been a little more plush - more basic than I thought it would be. Same with bathroom and it felt cold in the bathroom. But overall enjoyed our stay"

I was shown to my room and given info on the heating, breakfast times etc. Breakfast was served by a polite and pleasant lady, the breakfast itself was very nice (I opted for the traditional English). Plenty of parking available. The room itself was comfortable. Bathroom functional although if I was being overly critical I would say it could benefit from a bit of an update.
