“brilliant hotel, it is where i stay everytime i visit”

i really love Village Inn. Very well kept with friendly staff and notto meantion that i had an issue wit my room and they upgraded my room to a suite. i could not ask for more. Love Village Inn N Spa

“A very satisfactory 3 1/2 star location.”

“Good hotel for the price”

The hotel was nice enough for the price, the room was basic with 2 double beds. The pillows had some kind of smell on a number of occasions, but the beds were clean. The pool and and outdoor jacuzzis were great, the kids really enjoyed them. Breakfast was good, but we didn't have access to the hot food...not included with the "continental breakfast". Friday night was a little loud when the bar next door (happy day bar) closed (around 2:30 am) and all the patrons got in their cars and blasted their music. All in all, a good hotel, but next time we will be looking at one with a kitchenette. The price of restaurants can be expensive. Beware the triangle club cafeteria style food, we got sick and the next day was a write off.

Area recommendations

The reduit beach area is recommended since the beach is a highlight and there are plenty of restaurants within a 10 minute walk.

Dining

As noted above, beware of cafeteria style restaurants, the food may have been sitting out for a long time. We had supper once at the triangle club and got sick that night.

“pleasant stay in quiet hotel”

I stayed at Village Inn and Spa for 9 days (mid Dec) and am very pleased with both service and surroundings. The room was clean and the staff always helpful. Perfect hotel to use as a base, comfort and almost everything at hand, and at the same time not too expensive. In the lodge there was a computer which guests could use for free. The pool was kept clean. Easy dishes served in pool-bar, but mostly I only had breakfast at the hotel, lunch and dinner meals other places. Quiet hotel, not stressful, walking distance to beach and restaurants/bars.

“Love the place”

We had a great time. The staff was very good and took very good care of us. Tina the owner/manager was a joy to be around and was working very hard to make sure her guest were happy. Food was good, drinks were even better. The place was very clean. Shops were in walking distance and many restaurants close by. The beach was just a cross the street. Over all we all had a great time thanks to the entire staff at the Village Inn.

We went to a few of the local restaurants, Spinigers and the Dolphin both were very good.

“It could have been better”

“Hotel”

The hotel was clean but the air didn't work the bed was not comfortable. Personally I wouldn't stay there again. You can hear all the noises around the area and it is right on the street. I have to say the staff was very welcoming and friendly.

“A few issues with cleanliness”

The hotel is in a good location - 10 mins walk to the restaurants and bars of Rodney Bay and 2 mins from the beach, the staff are very attentative and friendly and can't be faulted. However, we felt that there were a few issues that the hotel needs to improve on, our room wasn't the cleaness room we've ever stayed in - coffee cup marks on the table, small insects crawling around and the bathroom had an unpleasant smell which we assumed might be due to drainage issues. The hotel served the purpose but we would probably wouldn't go back in a hurry

“The Village Inn & Spa - a little gem in Rodney Bay”

The Village Inn & Spa, did what it said on the tin...its a comfortable, little 3 star hotel with nice shabby chic rooms, great pool and very helpful and friendly staff. It's a stone throw from the quiet end of Reduit Beach which is good for all beach bunnies. The breakfast is hearty and will definitely keep you going until your next rum punch. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a 'economical' option in Rodney Bay which gives you the opportunity to actually soak up the sights and sounds of the local area versus staying put in an all inclusive. I would happily go back!
