"The staff were great. Had a really good salad. Nice pub and restaurant area But, the room needed a good paint. Shower needs the mould cleaned off to and the worst part was the mattress Thankfully i got an extra duvet to use as a "topper" to try and get a few hours sleep in"

The breakfast was excellent with a nice range and dare I say it the local black pudding was tastier than what I'd usually get from Bury! Only niggles were, the shower door was a little small for larger people and no hot water from sink tap. "This BnB is easy to find and the couple are very welcoming. Nice quality of breakfast food, cooked fresh to order. No shampoo and body wash provided as it's a budget price, but it still represents excellent value. Very comfy bed, fluffy white towels and plenty hot water / good shower pressure. Would stay again and happy to recommend."

"I had a very pleasant stay at Chimneys. A lovely old house, despite it being on a main road into town (15 min walk) it was very quiet. I had a cosy room with the usual amenities, a nice view and a private bathroom across the hall. There is a good choice of breakfasts, and they'll do their best if you have any special requirements. "Excellent location to train station and walkable to other cafes and sites. Hotel was great, staff was excellent, owner was awesome and attentive. No elevator but they helped with bags. Restaurant was great and pub was lively. No issue recommending this hotel."
