"Nice hotel, great location as it’s so close to the bus stops and station which made it easy to get around. The staff were always so pleasant and accommodating, the room itself was a normal size (what you expect in Japan) and the amenities were good. Only wish that they cleaned our room/ bathroom better when we put our sign out as we stayed there 4 nights so fresh sheets and a general clean would’ve been nice but not a deal breaker at all! "The hotel is well situated in the downtown area of Kyoto, close to Nishiki market and plenty of shopping and food options. Our room was a nice size with a comfortable bed. The only complaint about the room was the lack of 100V outlets. I've stayed in many hotels in the country and know this is not always provided, so I'm not faulting the hotel too much for this. "Fantastic property with even better location! Highly recommend this property for a great walkable location in the Gion district. Easy access to regional trains and only about a 10 minute taxi from the Shinkansen. Hotel is so cute and has everything you need. Public bath is amazingly relaxing and clean. Will be back!"
