The food is all excellent and we know we pretty much ate our way through the entire menu. Our dogs were made welcome and we had a lovely stay. "

"The check in and check out times of 5.00pm and 9.00am respectively struck me as rather restrictive. However, the owner, Sara, was most accommodating in allowing us to check in at 3.00pm. It was appreciated. The room was very comfortable and everything a guest needs was to be found, from plush dressing gowns, for wearing when going to the toilet which was not en suite per se, but next to the bedroom we stayed in, to slippers, a hair dryer and a mirror, to an iron and ironing board. Even the mugs...

"Very nice and cozy bedroom at the top floor of the building. everything was clean and cozy! Surrounding area does not allow you to park. Check out: no instruction on where to leave the keys... Overall, I would very recommend it!"

"Convenient to bus routes, and quiet place to sleep after a long day in Oxford. Just down the street from Magdalen Arms, our favourite pub for delicious dinner! Room is small, but comfortable enough for 2. Petar was kind to mail an item left behind free of charge. Would stay again. Thank you!"

"Service was very good, I was welcomed by the owner and made to feel welcome. I was shown to my room and given info on the heating, breakfast times etc. Breakfast was served by a polite and pleasant lady, the breakfast itself was very nice (I opted for the traditional English). Plenty of parking available. The room itself was comfortable. Bathroom functional although if I was being overly critical I would say it could benefit from a bit of an update. "We felt that the owners were not enthusiastic hosts. We were not shown half the facilities shown on the website, jut our room and the breakfast room. The breakfasts were average to poor (a dreadful poached egg ruined the smoked salmon it was served with). The TV in our room did not work, the picture was pixellated on all channels.."

"Very nice flat that is clean and spacious. Only issue is counter next to sink traps water in a pool that soaks everything on it. Room could also use a coffee maker. You also get to use the gym/pool next door and get a discount at the cafe there!"

"We stayed here for my sisters hen do and had the best time! The house was great (although you could use some more mirrors around the place but us girls made it work 😂). The secret garden was a nice place for sunset drinks and there’s a bigger field we were able to use for laser clay pigeon shooting! The grounds are beautiful.
