The hotel is in a great location on a quiet street. Very convenient for Pitt Rivers and Ashmolean museum. Reception are somewhat battered. Room rather dark as small window in old building. Needed lamps on all the time. Lighting for mirrors terrible. To eat in the Breakfast bar we needed to exit the building, walk down the street and enter again via reception area. We didn't bother, insteadvopting for the hamper delivered to the room.

Fantastic hotel ! Great amenities - the 11th floor pool and sauna is a real luxury - and the 1st floor bar amazing (reserve a table to be sure of a prime view). Very good food, a great room (nice coffee machine) and the Valetta ferry is right outside the front door. A wonderful hotel, lovely staff, great location. Highly recommended.

Very convenient for Oxford city centre. Even though it was close to the busy centre, it was in a quiet side street. Very pleasant staff who were very helpful. Unfortunately, the bed was too hard for us.

The room decor was tired and not at all like the photos used on the website. The room also obviously backed onto a bar as you could easily hear music through the walls. Little things like the duvet cover being about twice the size of the duvet, the hairdryer had no power, all add up and so we were overall quite disappointed. Plus points however were that the shower was really good and powerful, and the location was excellent to explore the city.
