Nice hotel, close to town. A bit of an uphill walk

B&B management was very accommodating in ensuring we had access for our very late check-in.

Welcoming

The location is excellent for exploring Winchester. Our room, though compact, was clean and comfortable. We received a friendly welcome and good continental breakfast. We would stay again.

Nice bed and breakfast, would recommend

Pros: Home from home experience
Cons: Nothing
Location: Twenty minute walk from town centre but this is okay. Adequate parking facilities.
Host friendly and very accommodating. Room warm and very comfortable. Would stay again.

Pros: Friendly host. Good key arrangement and key code so that we were not dependent on owners being around.
Cons: We usually have a cooked breakfast with B&B. I was aware when booking and breakfast was plentiful.
Location: Cathedral, museums, mill. We enjoyed the Christmas markets.
Convenient location for walking into Winchester. We booked a compact double with private bathroom across the landing. Perfectly adequate for one night. We would be happy to return but book a larger double with ensuite if staying longer.

Simple and friendly

The room and ensuite was perfect for me to stay for two nights while visiting family and friends in Winchester. There was no problems with parking and it was a short (hill) walk up from the centre. The service was friendly, I would recommend this as an alternative to a chain hotel

A clean friendly B&B handy for the city

We stayed in the compact twin room. I was definitely compact but it had everything we needed. Breakfast was great with lots of choice, in the dining room downstairs.

A good find

Posted 26-Jun-2012
Location: A short walk down to the city.
Lovely little place. We were in the smallest room, which was tight (but we knew it would be). However very comfortable, had everything you needed, very comfortable beds/bedding and a nice little private bathroom over the corridor. Very welcoming - Richard a very friendly host. And just a short walk down to the town, which was perfect for us.

small but convenient!

Posted 18-Apr-2012 on Hotels.com
The room was described as 'compact', perhaps mini would have been more accurate. However, we were made welcome, the room was immaculately clean, and the beds comfortable. We had a late night event, and did not want to drive home: it suited us fine, but only for one night!

A very nice little B&B.

The B&B is very nice. The upstairs has been converted into guest bedrooms, which are bit small, but very nice. The owner was very helpful and friendly.
