Just away from the very busiest parts of the city, but within 2-3 minutes walk of two water bus stops (including one on the Grand Canal) and within easy walking distance of much of the city anyway. "A small quiet hotel that is still very convenient to get around historic Venice. The only negative was the size of shower. It is so small I had to squeeze in so good luck if you drop the soap. The hotel also provided a nice Italian style breakfast buffet which was nice to start the day."

"I was rather concerned about the practice that the access code for the lock is sent out only at 3pm on the arrival day; for travelers without cellular service in Italy that is a worry, but we had wifi on the train, so everything worked out well. We came with the vaporetto, five minutes walking from the station: no problem.
