We had a suite at the Toscanelli for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. Padua is a delightful city and the hotel is central to everything. Steps away from the central fruit and food market which amazes with its fresh local products.

Hotel Belludi 37 is an amazing boutique hotel in a picturesque and historic city. The staff went above and beyond expectations - their attentiveness during our stay was remarkable. We truly felt as though we were being welcomed home and as if we were the only guests on property. They were more than happy to provide us with recommendations for enjoying Padua and the surrounding areas. We would most definitely return to Hotel Belludi 37.

This is a very good, inexpensive place to stay in Padova. Of particular note are the staff who were all incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are also very clean and probably the best I have come across for a 3-star in Italy. I got good advice about places to eat which weren't Americanized versions of Italian food but real authentic native cooking. Location is good too as they are 3 blocks from the very center but it is still quiet. Breakfast was basic but good quality. Also, they do have a long-term apartment through another org (contact them directly). Only one downside was the internet which requires you to log-in every 10 mins or so which is frustrating, but they say they're trying to fix this.

I enjoyed staying here. It's a small place, very nicely designed with a dining room facing the small garden. Angela the manager was very helpful. The building is quite old, which is part of the charm, but the floorboards do creak and water pressure was a bit low. Still highly recommended and better in my view than any modern hotel.
Padua is a pilgrimage city, with millions coming to see the Basilica di Sant’Antonio, where the grave of St. Anthony is preserved, in the city centre. Fans of Giotto will also find the most complete and best collection of his works. Padua also boasts a lovely botanical garden.
