“Find in Venice”
Thanks to the Antony Hotel for a great stay in Venice! We loved the newly remoded room, very contemporary look with nice beds, great bathroom, shuttle from and to Airport and friendly service. They even made up a breakfast to go when we had to leave early for the airport. Many thanks!
“We'll use it again if visit Venice”
Very nice location in a quiet neighborhood. The bus station to Venice is only few min walk. The hotel staff recommended a trattoria ristorante (a family restaurant) where we were able to eat great at a more that an affordable price. We recommend the house white wine. The rooms were clean and the double beds were sufficient for our family of 4. Great European included breakfast with something for everyone, including for our 2 little picky eaters. The only drawback was the room floors: no carpet, just the painted concrete floor. Because of that the floors were cold so make sure you have the slippers ready when you get out of the bed in the morning. The bathroom door is a sliding door that makes it hard to stay close. We'll use it again if visit Venice.
“Helpful staff”
I enjoyed this Hotel. I would go back.
“Dave's Review”
Good clean hotel. Staff pleasant and efficient. Location close to hotel. Four Euro charge for shuttle bus. Restaurant low average with high average prices.
“Awesome !!!!!!”
Service was great and helpful staff great location close to Venice highly recommend it.
“Great Location”
We stayed at this hotel for our last night in Venice after returning from a cruise. The location was excellent, about 15 minute bus ride to Plaza Roma and about a 5 minute taxi ride to the airport. It was actually much easier to stay here than in Venice itself because of the difficulty in locating addresses in Venice as well as hauling luggage up & down bridges and stairs. Our room had been recently renovated and was spotless. Linens were crisp white, beds comfortable. I'd stay here again for sure! Plus we found a fabulous little Trattoria just a couple of blocks away and had a wonderful dinner there!
“Antony Hotel Venice”
This was our first stay at the Antony Hotel. It is about 7 miles to Venice. It was clean and generally met our needs in Venice pre and post a cruise out of the Venice port. The rooms were adequate and the breakfasts fine. Nothing spectacular, but quite adequate. Elevators were small and some rooms had painted cement floors. Air conditioning and room lights cannot be left on as a door key is needed to keep electricity on in the room. Americans should carry a USA to Italy converter to charge cameras, phones, etc as the hotel cannot provide them. They will cahrge an item at the desk if you are willing to leave it. Staff there were pretty friendly and tried to accomodate our requests. There were some translation issues but they knew lots more English than we knew Italian. I'd say it was perhaps a 3.5 star hotel by USA standards. It was better than a limited service Ramada hotel but no Hilton Hotel. The shuttle service had some schedule glitches but overall it got us where we needed to go on time. There is public bus service just about 2 blocks from the hotel entrance and this was also adequate. The public bus was very crowded and hectic as European transport systems are but it worked. We would use the Antony Hotel again for pre and post cruising from Venice. It was convenient to the airport and the cruise port. Their shuttle got us to both Best descriptors for this hotel were clean and adequate. We'd use it agian.
“good hotel for access to early morning flight departure from Marco Polo airport”
A convenient hotel for the airport and about 10 minutes to criuse ship centre and 15 minutes to Venice bus terminal when it becomes pedestrian only. The staff, who all speak good English, were very pleasant and helpfull.Thehotel provides a mini bus shuttle to and from Venice bus terminal, airport and cruise ship, cost is 4Euro'seach when a cab is approx. 30Euro's. Shuttlle runs on a booked shedule done at hotel front desk and can carry 7-8 persons. We stayed 1 night before our cruise and 2 night after. Suggest ask for a renovated/modernised room as our first night on the first floor the room was very "tired" and the bathroon lighting was about 1 candlepower, so dim almost impossible to see. After our cruise we were given a modern room on the 5th floor which was a huge improvement. Hotel is very close to regular bus service for about 1.30 Euro's to and from main Venice bus terminal. Hotel has free wi fi but seems only to work in the front lobby. A very good complimentary breakfast is provided.
