The hotel would get a higher rating if it wasn't for the mosquitoes. Friendly, helpful staff, nice room and breakfast. Out of town but not far from public transport. But what good is all that if you're kept awake by the buzzing of a bug in your ear? Perhaps I was unlucky or this is always an issue in that part of the world anyway. And, to be fair, the front desk was able to lend me a can of bug spray so that was helpful. Would recommend but beware of the (small number of) mozzies.

This is a great hotel in a central position. It is not cheap, but worth what you pay. We had a deluxe room with a terrace - very nice to rest outside in the morning or evening mid-summer. Breakfast is extra and is a vast and plentiful buffet (24 euros per person) - cheaper to try one of the many little bars and cafes nearby. The pool and spa are great for refreshing after a long day site-seeing. But again the treatments are not cheap - perhaps good for a treat or present. The tapas served on the roof-top terrace bar is great - good food and fantastic views - very popular, good to book.

"Getting to the hotel needs detailed instructions."
The room was wonderful, clean, and comfortable. The reason this hotel only received 4 stars is that we knew we needed to get to area G to catch the shuttle, but no one explained how hard it would be to reach. Three different people gave us 3 different instructions. The hotel needs to send an e-mail with how to get to their shuttle with a map. We gave up after 90 minutes of trying and took a taxi that told us the hotel sheet had the wrong address. He took us to the wrong hotel...their bellhop helped us tell him that we had the correct address & exactly how to get there.
The other two couple traveling with us decided to hang in there & keep trying to get to the hotel shuttle. It took them an additional two hours to find it and arrive at the hotel. We had checked in, had a cocktail & ate a meal. (When we arrived, the kitchen would only be open 15 minutes; then it would reopen at 7 PM.) We needed to get there & eat early as we had to get up at 3 AM to make our flight at 6 AM.
They tell you the shuttle's time, but it takes an additinal 15 minutes for the shuttle to leave for our departure. Their shuttle information needs to be fully disclosed, maps of how to catch it, and then it can receive a 5 star review. It cost all of us a lot of additional stress and left a bad taste in our mouths. Make a detailed map showing how to get to the shuttle & send it to your customers who book with another site or directly with your hotel, please.

When I arrived at the hotel the room given to me was quite small...however, following my request, I was given a bigger room with a much better view as there was availability...in general, the hotel is affordable, clean and in a convenient location for exploring the city...

Mini break. Could not have chosen a more ideal hotel and location. Short transfer time from airport, friendly and accommodating staff, pleasant room (requested sea view, which was limited, nevertheless satisfactory). Room had balcony with table and two chairs, which was delightful to take in evening breeze. Short stroll to beach and restaurant strip. Hotel pool. Spa facilities available. Excellent choice of good for breakfast and dinner. Lunch provided by bar, which consisted of simple meals/ snacks.
