"Great hotel for both - young people and families."
This hotel is in the very heart of the centre of the town. There are many bars and clubs just outside the hotel. Very close to the beach (about 5min walk). I have stayed with my 2 daughters (9 and 17) for 10 days. They try to alocate (depends from availability) all young and "noisy" people on the bottom floors and give a bit more quiet rooms on the top for families. Despite quite loud and very alive neighborhood it was quiet in the room after closing the door to the terrace. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning very cleaned and well maintained. Interior is a bit outdated - I would say late '70 but in good conditions. Reception staff is very friendly and very helpful. They are making an effort and seem care about guests.
I can surely recommend this hotel for short and long stay. It brings good memories.
We were a bit wary after other reviews, but no problems at all, As other guests have commented, the hotel is good, but the problem is the drunken guests, fortunately, when we were there, the guests were all well behaved & sober. The only gripe I had, was the amount of "free" drinks that were being taken away by the waiters, such a shame that people are so greedy !!
The location is brilliant: less than five minutes walk to the coach station, the beach and cute local shops. The facilities were brilliant: breakfast included had a large variety, bar was always open, they had showers and a room to keep stuff in for after we checked out as our flight wasn't until the evening. The staff were so friendly and helpful, we kept asking hundreds of questions about places to go, prices etc. They spoke very good spanish and english and always smiled. It was big and clean. Free wifi in the bar, have to pay for other areas of the hotel but not really necessary. Only down side was that the views were of neighbouring buildings.
There are 3 hotels under Evenia Olympic Resort and it wa not clear in which one we will be staying. So when we booked the transfer from the aiport we got really nervous. Apparently, despite different addresses, they are more or less in the same but a very big building.
The hotel was very nice, 2 outdoors swimming pools with a huge area to relax, different bars. Did not spent too much there as the weather was beautiful and we were out from the hotel in the morning, soemtimes coming back for lunch and dinner sometimes not. The food was very good: nice choice, fresh and tasty. You get fish, meat, a lot of fresh fruits and veg.
The room was of a good size with 2 huge king size beds; still had some space to move around. Cleaned daily and very good.
The hotel is a bit far from the beach ( 20 minutes walk) and about 15 minutes walk from the town centre but in a nice and quite location.
Location is great - just on the limit of the tourist area, minutes walking to any store, restaurant or the beach, while being quite. In addition, the Casino is just under the hotel itself.
Rooms and hotel are renovated, pool is great and very nice restaurants, professional staff, free WiFi.
Parking is expensive, 18EU per night, while you may find free parking near by.
The hotel is inaccessible directly from the road. Entrance requires quite a lot of walking (arround the casino and the park that surrounds the hotel).
