"A lovely place to stay after a long motorcycle woods—and surrounded by wild nature! Wonderful host, too! I hope to return. Note: you're driving in around 20-25 minutes in from Clearwater, BC over dirt roads that eventually climb quite a bit through some tight switchbacks to find the property. I didn't have any problem on my motorcycle (Kawasaki Versys 650 or sport touring/light ADV style), but sounds like some other two-wheeled riders have found the approach to the property challenging. Building designs are creative, and staff are helpful and friendly. It’s a great location for Wells Gray exploration! "I loved the way the owners have a large selection of vhs' to take to your room. The room was clean. The lake is beautifully nestled in a small valley that is not overly polluted with noise from the highway near-by. I was sad that the owners were not able to open their restaurant this year due to staffing issues. But will definitely be back and am looking forward to that Italian meal."
