The staff were very friendly. We had a blast chatting with them. We were very sincere when we left - we told them we will definitely recommend their hotel to our friends and if we would not hesitate to stay there again. Very clean and comfortable.
The hotel was excellent, staff was great, very positive vibe from start to finish. The breakfast was amazing, the eggs benny were some of the best I have ever had, I try them everywhere! The bed was not the most comfortable, not the worst though. Looks like it was recently reno'd so decor was nice. Pool was very cool! On the roof top, with services for food and drinks if you wanted. Parking is extra too.
We sold our house and needed a place to lay our heads for the night. We checked in late, the front desk employee was so friendly and helpful. The room was so quiet, altho the parking lot was full, we never heard a soul. The rates were the best in the area, and a good breakfast in the reception area in the morning We have no complaints at all with this property.
On our way out to Vancouver from Calgary (through a fall snow storm). Easy to find downtown location. Very charming building with excellent and friendly staff. The room was comfortable and certainly par with updated older buildings. The meal in the hotel restaurant was great, food and service. EXCELLENT bedding, we had a great sleep and got up to the complimentary breakfast which was also very good. The only issue for me was parking (outside surface lot next to the building), but overall an excellent stay and I would certainly stay here again when passing through.
Located in the City Centre of Kamloops, this hotel is one block from Riverside Park, Lakecity Casino, and the Sportmart Place …More
We stayed two nights to break a long drive from Jasper to Whistler and Vancouver. Excellent value (C$109 per night) in a massive, twin bed room overlooking the car park and Rogers Way. The hotel was packed on our first night but you would never have known it. We used the indoor pool and hot tub which we had to ourselves. Julia at reception was very efficient. We didn't try the restaurant but at at the "On the Rocks" sports pub 100 yes away the first night and had a picnic at a free concert in Riverside Park the second. Hotel well situated, high on the hill overlooking the city but only 5 mins drive from downtown.
Kamloops isn't much of a tourist destination but we met loads of ordinary locals. Loads of shopping (if that's your thing) in the malls near the hotel and downtown. It was scorching when we were there so the whole town was outdoors.
