The minute we walked into the hotel we knew this was an up scale, modern with an old time twist, elegant place. The music playing was perfect. Everywhere we looked made us feel relaxed. The "Play Naughty" theme was sexy as was the decor. The bar was perfect. The pretty blue lit halls led us to the blue and white decorated room. The air conditioner was very comfortable, quiet and unnoticed. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone looking to get away without the kids.

This luxury hotel is located in the French Quarter but is away from most of the noise. It is well appointed and quite comfortable. It is only a short walk to many fine restaurants, clubs, and activities. Parking is rather expensive ($45), the only real downside. The staff is gracious and attentive. The courtyard and lounge are exquisite. I did not dine here with so many wonderful restaurants only a short walk away. This is one of my favorite places to stay in my many visits to the Big Easy.
Hotel was great. Bourbon St was right out the back door. I paid for a king room through expedia but when I got there they gave me a double room. When I asked the front desk about it I was told that when Expedia books your room they tell the hotel to give you you what ever is available not necessarily what they advertise and you pay for.
A friend from college decided to plan a girls weekend in New Orleans for her Birthday. I only needed a room for one night and the Sheraton exceeded my expectations! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean and well maintained, and the service was outstanding! The valet parking is a bit pricey, but well worth the money for a secure location. The hotel is less than 3 blocks from Bourbon St, and the Palace Cafe is across the street which is an excellent brunch destination! I have stayed in many hotels in New Orleans and this hotel is definitely in my top three! I would highly recommend staying at the Sheraton on Canal St. in New Orleans!
The Marriott is so conveniently located to French Quarters, best restaurants, casino, trolley rides and relaxing view of the Mississippi River. Professional hotel employees with very much focus on customer service. Enjoyed the trip because of the true Southern Hospitality.. The river view was so entertaining and everything in the hotel and city is affordable.
Love New Orleans....
