Very nice rooms with wonderful character. The main feature is the location of the property. It is perfectly located within walking distance of Bourbon St., the Riverfront, Jackson Square, and Canal St. Only minutes from convenient excursion pick up points. I chose this property based on its reviews and it did not. It was well priced and very comfortable. The room was spacious, and we loved the funky decor. It’s location allowed us to walk easily to all the French Quarter spots that we wanted to visit, as well as being right off of Canal street, which allows us to walk easily to the Saint Charles Street car stop. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The the only negative that I can say about our stay was that unfortunately our room window overlooked a back alley, and every day without fail around 4 AM the garbage trucks came to pick up garbage and it was super noisy. Other than that, everything was great, and we would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I enjoyed staying here. The property had good character and our room was nice. I would note, however, that while we booked a room with a queen sized bed, the bed we got was definitely only a full. It was also quite loud at night—we ended up sleeping on the sofa bed because it was further away from the windows (and the mattress was the same size as the bed anyway). Our room was also never cleaned during the 5 nights we were there, despite asking for a refresh on the towels. Still, the location is excellent, and the room was well-equipped, minus the small bed.

The hotel was stunning and perfectly matched our expectations and New Orleans vibe. It was conveniently located near Bourbon Street, Royal Street, and Canal Street, making it easy to explore the city. A bonus was the streetcar stop right around the corner. However, there were a few downsides. The hotel was incredibly noisy, especially at 5 am when they emptied the trash in the street behind the hotel. It was quite disruptive and made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. Another issue was that we didn’t receive a cleaning of our room for three days. I had requested one on the second morning, but it never happened. Beside this we had a great time there!

Room had beautiful art and furniture but very disappointed with the sofa bed. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress was very thin. The full bed in bedroom is small. They should offer a queen size bed. The noise level from the streets extremely loud trouble sleeping thru the night. Nice staff. The location is ideal because you are so close to all the great local restaurants and bars. Close to great shopping locations.
