"We have just returned from 1 night stay at Royal station hotel ,. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday. On arrival we were checked in smoothly although our room was not ready the girl at reception was very helpful stating we could leave luggage . We were given an upgraded room which was beautiful. "Nice overnight stay at Hall Garth hotel, just minutes off the motorway but no sound of traffic !!!!!, Staff are all very friendly and an asset to the business. Evening meal was very tasty as was the breakfast. They have closed the swimming pool but have Spa facilities but at a premium price of £15 for 90 minutes which in my opinion is over priced. Rooms a little dated but comfortable . Would certainly recommend and return. They also have their own golf course. "

"I was very happy with my stay. I was here for a run. I had a nice meal which was needed. I was particularly impressed at guest laundry at no extra cost. The staff were friendly and helpful. I asked for a small extension to my check out time and this was not a problem. This was extremely helpful as it enabled me to change after my run. I would definitely stay here again"

"Stayed for 2 nights and could not fault the room and the breakfast was really good. However we decided to order a snack from the menu one evening. I ordered a sandwich, the menu stated fresh bloomer bread, brown or white, tuna, spring onion, mayonnaise and black pepper. When I received this it was 2 thin slices of 50/50 bread, no spring onion and the thinnest filling of tuna, more like spread. The charge for this was £8.00!! Definitely not worth the cost."
