"I had a great stay here. The hotel is very clean. The toiletries & tools (hairdryer and straighteners) provided in the room were of very high quality. The bed was comfortable, the shower was powerful and the staff were very accommodating. The diner itself is great. I enjoyed my breakfast. Parking is widely available too."

"Beautiful hotel, great location, just out of the City centre. There is a bit of a walk back up a fairly steep hill. Breakfast has to be ordered the evening before and there is a good choice. The only downside the room we stayed in was that it faced the main road and we were unable to have the window open during the night as it was very noisy. If we stayed again, we would choose a room facing the garden."

"Lovely old mansion property in a good position overlooking the valley near Bradford on Avon. Good sizeable room and king bed, but slightly disappointed with the bed, a little hard; I was turning many times in the night due to being uncomfortable; needs a mattress topper and the pillows were quite hard too. If staying at this property, perhaps recommend staying on 1st floor as our room was ground floor and the noise from upstairs guests was very loud - not much in terms of sound insulation. "Stayed overnight pre flight from Bristol Airport. Very convenient location at side of M5. Unlike some motorway services hotels we were only a short distance from Clifton and Portishead. The room was spacious and comfortable. "
