We had an extremely pleasurable stay at the Somerset Arms after spending the day at Longleat Safari Park. Made to feel very welcome. The food we ate was lovely and highly recommend the Steak and Ale pudding. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
Thanks for a lovely stay!

We stayed at the Old Bell for one night. We'd travelled to Warminster for a family party and got so much more than we bargained for. The Old Bell was still open when we got back from the party so we joined in the dancing. The pub had a lovely friendly fun atmosphere.
This hotel is truly beautiful at Christmas. Reception staff are outstanding and do everything to help. The hotel grounds and decorations are magnificent, warm and welcoming. We stayed in the Dorchester room which is fabulous and luxurious, great space for a family. The food is very good and fresh and plenty of it. The only negative is the wait for food at breakfast- 25 minutes. The kitchen struggled a little with having so many large tables to serve. The pool is lovely even with small toddlers. Would highly recommend this hotel, its not cheap but definitely worth it.

All staff absolutely top quality
Food choice a bit limited as we do not eat meat, but we had fish on both nights. On the second night we were served sea bass which was not on the menu. They made it specially and it was delicious
The Lopes Hotel is over 500 years old. It is a quaint building that lacks one major facility. An effective heating system. I have never been so cold in a hotel for many years.
The food was excellent and the staff helpful when spoken to but requesting things like lights to be fixed achieved nothing.. The room TV did not have a remote control so having to get out of bed into a freezing room was not pleasant. The bedding felt permanently damp.
Double glazing was conspicuous by its absence.
Stayed 2 nights for our daughters birthday for easier reach of Longleat. Staff were welcoming, family room was spacious, big breakfast too start the day! Quaint 'villagey' feel to the inn as well as the local area. For us it was everything we needed. Thank you.
