Tenerife Waterpark Holidays

Superb hotel, great location for ourselves, 3rd time visiting and we love this hotel. Room was lovely and clean, we chose to overlook the pool area. Breakfast is outstanding, probably the best you can get. Staff and housekeeping are are great, super professional. I’d highly highly recommend this hotel, we couldn’t fault it.

On check-in for 5 days, I was put in a room with disabled access. I was not advised of this but when I saw it, thought it would be fine. The first time I showered, I found that the water spread all over the floor. To me, it was obvious that the cause was a tiled floor with poor slope design. I was told there was no other room to move me to, but they would send a technician to look at the drain. Three visits and a new drain cover did not fix it (no surprise as it was the floor at fault). Meanwhile, I had to use the extra towels to dam the water and try to keep it contained to flow down the drain. The final straw was on my last morning shower before checkout - a large cockroach came up through the bigger holes in the "new" drain cover. The maid service is not daily and despite requesting it one day, they said my do not disturb sign was up when they came - did not get any in the 5 days. In general, the layout of this hotel is very complex and not easy to navigate around - more, better signage would help. The priority clearly is given to timeshare owners and not the casual visitor like myself.

This was our 2nd visit to the hotel with our 3 year old. Clean room on arrival and room was cleaned every day new clean towels when requested, we took a spare absorbent sheet to put on our toddlers bed that was washed without being asked which was so kind, all staff very friendly, bar staff always happy to help, pool very clean and plenty of sun loungers all day so no need to go to the pool early in the morning to try and reserve sun beds. Lovely selection of food catering for all needs and dietary requirements. Arcades are great for kids and pool tables for adults. Photos can be taken by staff by pool and around the hotel but perhaps expect these to be done a little more professionally for the price. Minimum is €15 per photo with a minimum purchase of 5 if you also want these digitally. Pool towels are supplied with a deposit paid which is refunded at the end of your stay. Great selection of activities to choose from although we were a little disappointed that the soft play is no longer at this hotel. Evening entertainment is great although worrying that the disco and inside entertainment is over the safe decibel limit for children so this will need to be improved for us to return. Great property only complaint was no AC in rooms but bought a fan while there otherwise great place very central and easy to get everywhere especially Siam park
