Very nice rooms, great location, very clean

Not a 5 star hotel and the room although it was very big and nice, was dirty, particularly the bathroom. The pools are old and quite small, if you want to go to the beach you need to walk 25mins. There isn’t good coffee around and nothing to do. I don’t recommend it at all.

Clean restaurant and bar/pool, helpful staff, rooms were a bit outdated but with good views - food let it down.

Great hotel, made better by the Magma experience - which was given as an upgrade as our original size room was not ready (instead we had a slightly smaller, recently renovated room which could not have been improved on!) Staff were helpful, hotel was immaculately clean and food was good.

This resort is everything but luxury. The elevators are cramped, the carpets are worn, premium alcohol costs extra, and even towel exchanges are restricted. There is no option to get bottled water in a glass bottle, so guests are expected to use the tap water provided on the floors. Even the suites do not have proper coffee machines, just a bottle of water and cheap packet coffee. The whole experience feels extremely basic. Calling this a three star hotel would honestly be generous. On top of that the Italian specialty, joke restaurant charges $28 for tricolor filet mignon which supposed to come with multi color side dishes and it comes by itself and it’s overcooked zero Service zero character. Please do not stay in this resort if you could help it it’s horrible once you realize you’re paying for 5 Star Pl. and you get a Amo Holiday Inn three star experience.

The hotel is spectacular from the moment you arrive. You will feel like you are privileged to be there as every small detail is taken care of between the food, the staff, and the facilities. Nothing is less than five star throughout.

On check-in for 5 days, I was put in a room with disabled access. I was not advised of this but when I saw it, thought it would be fine. The first time I showered, I found that the water spread all over the floor. To me, it was obvious that the cause was a tiled floor with poor slope design. I was told there was no other room to move me to, but they would send a technician to look at the drain. Three visits and a new drain cover did not fix it (no surprise as it was the floor at fault). Meanwhile, I had to use the extra towels to dam the water and try to keep it contained to flow down the drain. The final straw was on my last morning shower before checkout - a large cockroach came up through the bigger holes in the "new" drain cover. The maid service is not daily and despite requesting it one day, they said my do not disturb sign was up when they came - did not get any in the 5 days. In general, the layout of this hotel is very complex and not easy to navigate around - more, better signage would help. The priority clearly is given to timeshare owners and not the casual visitor like myself.

Beautiful apartments and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I will be back!

Excellent staff and location, could not find fault with anything. Will stay again. Highly recommended.
