Tenerife Beach Holidays

It was really clean, the room service was perfect. Great food, spacioues rooms. I really liked the rooms, very comfortable. There were two negative points as well: The stuff around the pool and bar did not speak English well, so communication was really hard. Also there was construction inside the hotel making noise during day.

We had one of the most amazing experience. The staff is so nice and helpful, they really go the extra mile to make your stay as comfortable and easy as possible , the room was very clean and spacious. We will definitely come back.

Great hotel.

The hotel was very clean, the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the shower and bath had good pressure and temperature. The location of the hotel was perfect, away from the high-traffic tourist areas but still only a few minutes away from local beaches, shops and restaurants. Our favorite part was having drinks and relaxing by the pool. The staff were all very friendly, helpful and professional. The breakfast buffet had a good variety to chose from. Made to order egg omelets, fried eggs, crepes and waffles, plenty of fruits, juices, pastries, etc. as you would expect in a 5 star hotel. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would come back without hesitation. Now the minor things which I would improve: Toilet paper is the thinnest kind - I would expect something a bit more premium. The strawberries in cocktails and topping for crepes are frozen, I would expect fresh strawberries. The tv in our room didn’t have streaming apps and chromecast didn’t work / password wasn’t in the room. The elevators were dated, especially the one to the parking garage, it would open doors multiple times and drop a bit when a person would get in. The live music was great but ran a bit late for my liking, (until 11pm) .

We would rate our stay at this hotel 4/5 stars overall. I want to preface this review by saying that some of the things I mention are definitely nitpicking, but that is largely because this is a five-star hotel. When you are paying for a five-star experience, you naturally expect the smaller details to be taken care of as well. None of the issues we experienced completely ruined our stay, and we genuinely enjoyed many things, but there were enough small disappointments that I think they are worth mentioning for anyone considering a stay here. We stayed in a standard “Melia Room,” which was nicely decorated and had a pleasant overall atmosphere. Unfortunately, the location of our room was one of the things that made the stay slightly less convenient. Our room was located at the far end of the hotel, and the other window overlooked the parking lot. Because the hotel is so large, getting from our room to the main areas of the property involved quite a bit of walking. The room itself was attractive and comfortable, but the bathroom was where we felt it needed a bit more attention to detail. The toilet was quite difficult to flush, which was inconvenient, and there was some mildew in the shower. We stayed on a half-board basis, which gave us the opportunity to experience some of the hotel's themed dinner nights. The Asian night left something to be desired, and the dishes were inconsistently clean. We also had one frustrating experience with the front desk regarding the shuttle.

Cannot recommend and was highly disappointed. - Had to change room after collecting keys due to smell of smoking within room - room was very dated, showed signs of damage on all furniture and shower head didn’t hold in place until a rubber band was used to support it. - excessive noise through walls and ceiling from other guests. This was reported to reception but didn’t solve the problem - bin bags were carried around poolside by staff with liquids leaking out - bins were rinsed on poolside with the shower and then emptied out over the floor - Air conditioning within room was both ineffective despite following hotel instructions to leave doors closed etc and made loud vibrating noises that disturbed sleep. Often the noise wouldn’t stop for hours. - Despite a 6 day stay only one housekeeping visit is included for towel/bedding change. Floors were not cleaned either during this clean. Overall we were very disappointed with the stay, and would not return. This hotel is in dire need of refurbishment. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss this with hotel management further.
