Great quiet hotel. Ample parking for everyone.Staff are really helpful and friendly. Staff attrition is low, we stay about every 6-7 weeks and it is the same people. This shows that working conditons, pay etc must be acceptable for staff to stay making it a happy place.Dog friendly rooms with lovely river walks past the rugby club down past the canal or along the river and around the wildlife reserve. Food is great, especially the amazing choice at breakfast. We stay in different grades of room depending on length of stay. The 2 bed suites are situated close to the lifts but are sound insulated to a point. Amenities include minifridge, aircon, fan heaters and cooling fans, 2 double beds and 2 bed settees. Bathroom is functional and well stocked with soaps,shampoos in pump dispensers. Local wildlife when on walks complete the atmosphere. Cannot really fault this for the realistic price per night.

Amazing stay at Enchanted manor, from the moment we walked in the vibes were warm and friendly. The food and drinks were delicious and the red squirrels and badger feeding in the evenings was an amazing experience. Could not recommend this place more.

A truly comfortable and pampered stay. David and Tonny do not have to do any effort to make your stay feel unique as they have in themselves the art of hosting. Great attention to detail; nothing goes unnoticed, from the small shampoo bottles left open in the shower, and then carefully closed to the meticulously prepared deliciously cooked breakfast. Not a single thing out of place; not a single desire not catered for. David seems the one who does the cooking while Tonny the one serves the food, and prosecco! All works out in clockwork precision. Recommended

It was as nice as our memory of our first stay, when the sun shines there is only one place to be - on the terrace. Having said that it is very comfortable to be inside. It is a very friendly place to be to enjoy Cornwall.

Beautifully situated next to the beach in Falmouth, although it is a shame that a large building obscures much of the sea view. Upon arrival the receptionist was rather brusque, not to say rude, and just barked “surnames” in our direction, which wasn’t very welcoming. The luxury suite with sundeck room was very nice and comfortable with a good shower, great bed and shower. The bar staff were excellent and very friendly. We were dismayed to discover that the spa was not included and a further fee was required for access (the room was £320 for one night) we didn’t want to pay this so went to the heath club pool instead, which was awful. “Family swim” for list of the afternoon meant shrieking kids and splashing. The pool area was rather poorly maintained, with a missing ice bucket etc. The breakfast selection was varied, but the eggs Benedict was rather sad, with a cold muffin and a tiny smear of hollandaise. All in all, it’s good, but could be so much better and very expensive for what it is.
