(2,238 reviews) This was our second vacation there in 2025, and once again, it did not disappoint. We traveled with our two teenage boys, who absolutely love the Marina pool—especially the rock feature and water slide. They also enjoyed pool volleyball and spending time with friends at the pool bar. The resort and rooms are consistently clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and—most importantly—the food is excellent for a family-friendly all-inclusive resort. The only drawback is the beach, which is only minimally swimmable. Overall, we had another great stay and will likely return next year. Both pool areas are great: the main pool is heated and right by the beach; the second pool has a relaxing vibe. The hotel has access to a gym (2 min walk) that offers great yoga classes. The staff is super friendly; special thanks to Eric for connecting us with amazing excursions guy Pedro. We had a two bedroom penthouse with a terrace. Great views from the terrace and loved the spaciousness. Overall, highly recommend. AC on the ceiling randomly started gushing out water/liquid? Bathrooms were flooded and all seemed to need major repairs. Not enough entertainment. Kid area cannot be used for kids under 4 so there isn’t anything to do other than 10am-11am. Also times on the app and website do not match up. Kid area and certain restaurants would be closed sooner than the app showed. Kid pool area ran out of stuff constantly and gave me a hot dog and a beef patty without any buns. Kid pool also had shards of broken plastic cups. Workers are none existent, everything just seems like a huge safety hazard. Very disappointed with my stay. Not enough activities or entertainment. Our room was spacious and well-maintained, the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the food offered great variety for both adults and kids. The pools and family areas were a highlight, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. We made great memories and would absolutely return. Highly recommend for families with young children.
