"Lovely old property, lots of character and charm. Staff are friendly and welcoming, some I feel are under pressure from senior management, It feels like they are short staffed. Which adds pressure to the rest. But they cope with a smile. Be nice to see more staff which would definitely increase the customer experience and enjoyment. "We had an amazing one night stay here. Family Room on the top floor, fantastic view of the sea and great for people watching. Toilet is down the hall, not that clean and fresh feeling. Showers down a floor, fine. Incredibly good value for such an amazing location right in the heart of things. We tried to stay a second night but unfortunately that room was booked and we were offered a room on the first floor but it seemed like it would be really noisy right over the pub. Seems like your experience really relies on getting a good room - and we really did. Can't wait to go back. "
