Stayed here for one night in Room 5 (I think) As I was driving back from a festival in Dorset, I kept in touch with the hotel staff about my arrival and all was fine when I arrived about 7pm. We stayed at this hotel for a night stay ready for our polar express day at the nearby churnet railway station, we had an absolutely lovely time at this hotel friendly and helpful staff, the hotel is absolutely lovely and the rooms are clean and tidy and very comfortable. It was very fantastic, I have known kevin since i started my shifts in stoke-on-trent. Very Gentlemen and warm as always. the room is very clean and very large as I didn't expect it. (the room I reserved) room was so warm and bed is new, I should say all is new from floor to ceiling. My wife and I stayed overnight last weekend, a re-visit after our first time last year. We were impressed last time, and again this time, even though our expectations were high from previously. Last year we went after my wife broke her leg, and the pool provided the first time she was able to walk unaided, which made for excellent therapy. Recently refurbished and renovated as a chic bistro winebar and luxury accomodation - throughly enjoyed staying here; would unhesitatingly recommend it to anyone - steep stairs to top most floor owing to the age of the building - only negative point .

Stayed for 4 days, had good experience. 5 minutes walk from town centre, shops, cinema and bus station. Easy access to Keele University, which was the purpose of my stay. Free wifi was great and quick.

Room 4 was a delight to stay in also the Bed was so comfortable décor was also very good Well Done!!!

Great host, clean rooms all facilities that are required, great breakfast.

We only ended up staying for one night of the two we booked. This was due to work commitments not the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very tasty. Before we left we had a meal in the restaurant. The food was some of the best we’ve had in a while. We would definitely stay there again.
