"Broken shower in one of our rooms but were able to change rooms. The windows need some attention as its not always possible to secure them (and keep external noise out). Staff are great though and it's a good price with breakfast inc. Would stay here again."

"On entering the hotel we immediately noticed the unkempt borders and dirty glass on the doors. The courtyard, which could have been lovely, was overgrown with weeds and dirty benches. Charged for the car park which was a rough piece of land! The room was very tired with missing handles on drawers, thin duvet and un- ironed, well used bedding. The bathroom had had a bit of a makeover but the mixer tap had no control and the water went from freezing to boiling!! Very dangerous and no warning given. The floor tiles were marked and unclean. Towels clean but old Breakfast was ‘on the go’, in a bag with a choice of a tuna melt or cheese and onion toasted - not exactly a breakfast.Poor wifi too. Extremely disappointing stay overall and we are easy going people are never ones to ever complain!! It definitely needs a HUGE makeover!!"

"Nice place with a bar and restaurant with a good selection of reasonably-priced food. Room itself very uncomfortable (room 8, described as economy double on their website). Boiling hot, above kitchen meaning noisy from 6.15am, only roof windows so if opened there are no curtains or blinds. Shower dribbled. TV has many channels missing. No WiFi in room except via home extenders. Annoying bland pop covers played from speakers inside and out. No included breakfast if booked through hotels.com"

"Excellent hotel and I will definitely be staying there again. All the staff were helpful. The receptionists were really welcoming and helpful particularly Karen and Claire. We Used room service and had a really polite and helpful young man called Kallum who was patient with me when I got a bit flustered. Also Simone was a happy cheerful face in the morning, she made you feel like you were a regular by greeting you so warmly. The facilities were excellent, everywhere was clean and the room we had was lovely. Nice clean bathroom and really comfortable beds. The hotel definitely deserves the 5 stars and I highly recommend it."

"First I never got an email giving me the code to get in. I had to call to get it. Then it was hard to unlock the door to get in. Then we couldn’t ever lock the door from the outside. We struggled to lock from the inside. The bathroom was moldy. There was food in the fridge that wasn’t ours. My friend fell outside the flat because there is a step but the outside light wasn’t working. "
