Staff were wonderful as was the room and the food available in the restaurant. Only disadvantage was the lack of car parking but that still wouldn’t put us off returning.

We know the area well and we're staying at the Marine Hotel for a wedding. We had the superior room but sadly it rained so did not really use our balcony. The room was warm, clean and the staff all very friendly. Everyone was very helpful and made you feel very welcome. We will definetely book again. They also have 2 dog-friendly rooms which is great news for our 4-legged companion.

Great stay - convenient location just a short walk from the high st and attached to a fabulous restaurant. We stayed on the top floor - great room but a bit tricky for anyone who is less mobile or quite tall. Really great friendly service from the staff from start to finish.

Very pleasantly surprised, the room actually had 3 bedrooms and the staff couldn’t do enough for you, would definitely stay again.

A fantastic stay and a brilliant evening had in the bar, they even had Elvis in the building! The food was great, the room very comfortable with a lovely bed and the welcome was very warm. Could not fault this place at all. Perfect for a overnight stay.

We had a comfortable and friendly stay at St Peter’s B&B. We were given a ground floor converted stable room which was well furnished, comfortable and clean. The ensuite shower was amazing. Both complimentary continental buffet breakfast and hot cooked breakfast of your choice was available. The location was in the centre of Sandwich, less than 5 minutes walk to the shops. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Staff contacted me as I had anticipated a later arrival to advise about dining times whch was really helpful. Food was good. Could be a bit more options of gluten free at breakfast

Great hotel for those thinking of staying in Canterbury. Only 15 minutes walk to the city centre. Room was quiet, staff were very good. Ate in on all three evenings, and had some really nice food, even a carvery on one evening. Breakfast choices were also excellent.

It was the first visit to Canterbury for my friend and myself . The Cathedral Lodge was so lovely. The staff were super helpful, the hotel was spotless, the breakfast was excellent. It was quite novel to be let i and out of the main gate by police but at least you felt secure. We also went on a punt trip up the river Stour. Clean room and breakfast

Only stayed one night before getting the early eurotunnel. We arrived quite late but all of the staff were so accommodating and friendly and we managed to get some lovely food despite the time. The room was beautiful and rustic only downside is that because we were leaving early we felt we had to be so so quiet as the rooms felt so intimate.s
