We didn’t eat in the evening, but breakfast was very nice, choice of full English breakfast, fruit, and lots of options, which were all good quality. The room was huge, we stayed in room 14. "I defy anyone to find friendlier staff than those at The Elmer - nothing is too much trouble and you are made to feel welcome from the minute you step through the door. The food in the restaurant is really good - particularly useful to know as there's nowhere else nearby to eat! We had a wonderful walk along the beach before dinner. "What a charming place! Our room was above the pub which had good food and drink. Even better, the pub closes at 11 pm every night so it’s quiet for sleeping. The breakfast was very good and the management super friendly and helpful. This place has a long and interesting history which it preserves in its pleasant decor. "
