"A most enjoyable, peaceful, one night stay, wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the grounds. We were in one of the oldest, original, parts of the house, but everything was tastefully up to date and very clean. All the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly."

The only minor issue was the lighting by the mirrors we found inadequate for getting ready for a wedding and it would have be nice to have a full length mirror. "The Richmond was quiet and restful, which was what we were looking for. The room was large and airy, comfortably furnished with plenty of storage space. Breakfast was perfectly cooked with plenty of choice. The owners were friendly and helpful, keen that we enjoy our stay. We would be very happy to stay there again. We were sad that this lovely couple, working hard and doing a great job, have had to take abuse from unreasonable people who expect the service of a 5* hotel from B & B...
