"We absolutely adored our stay here. We stayed here for the first night of our honeymoon - without even asking the staff made up our room with rose petals and a congratulations card. Rafael instantly made us feel welcome, it was a quiet and clean place, and the English breakfast they cooked for us was delicious. "A cosy sea front hotel above a pub. Room 404 had superb bay window for admiring the view of the beach and sea across to The Spinaker Tower. The room is bright ,warm plenty of lights, mirrors and storage. A few things are a bit tired, curtains don't close properly, chest of drawers damaged and sink worn but comfortable bed and efficient shower over bath .Friendly staff and guest entrance when staff not on duty. Good value ."

"Very good hospitable father&son host. Poached eggs at breakfast the best we've had. Other gussts had good ideas/suggestions too as to what was happening in the area for free too, but was too late for us as we were leaving after a 2 night stay. Bed very comfortable. Maybe just a bit of updating in decor needed, but otherwise, yes we would stay again."

The only minor issue was the lighting by the mirrors we found inadequate for getting ready for a wedding and it would have be nice to have a full length mirror. Breakfast wad great and will certainly stay again. Many thanks for making our stay most enjoyable."

"The hotel looked lovely but unfortunately we didn't get to stay. Turned up to find hotels.com had not passed out booking into hotel so left with nowhere to stay in remote countryside. I'd recommend the eco lodge - staff were lovely but not hotels.com -it took almost a month to get a refund only by going via my bank's anti fraud process."

"Loved the hotel , great value for all the extras we got , staff very friendly and helpful restaurant and bar amazing . Gardens so pretty , only negative but not really a negative, the rooms are a bit dark and don’t match the coastal theme with the rest of the hotel . Will definitely come back when we cruise again 😁"
