"DoubleTree ticked all the boxes - cleanliness, comfort, quality. The standout was the customer service which was very friendly (especially the person who serviced our rooms who was always friendly and helpful). Minor downside was that it's not exactly close to any key locations, but the bonus was that we got to know Angel Islington which is a bit of hidden gem (recommend a walk along the canal and the German bakery). We we were able to access all the usual tourist hot spots by bus or train (both available within 5 minutes walk. All in all, very happy with our stay (and we tend to be a bit not picky 😁)"

"Only there overnight but the hotel staff were polite, friendly and ordered a taxi on our behalf. Happy with everything apart from the cost of parking which felt steep at £30 a day for hotel guests. £35 if not a guest. "

"I liked the staff and how friendly they were also great bar staff both day and night very friendly. Didn’t want to leave!"

"A short covered walk to the hotel from the airport terminal mmade this a convenient place to stay. Largish room, and bar was pleasant with food and and a few kinds of beer."

"Some issues upon checking in, but was resolved very quickly. Manager Ann was responsive and took action to resolve issues without delay. Very pleasant stay. Will stay at the same hotel again."
