"As ‘budget’ hotels go, this is up there. The accommodation’s comfortable but what stood out was the staff - reception and bar staff really friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough. We left at 3.45am next morning but there was a nice ‘grab and go’ breakfast which was great. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. It was refreshing staying in an independently run hotel as we often stay at chain hotels. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming- nothing was too much trouble. The room was nice and the breakfast was really good. The pool and spa facilities were a really nice feature. The only niggle was that there was no air conditioning in the room. It was so warm, despite having a desk top fan, that we found it difficult to sleep. Overall, a great hotel at a reasonable price."

"Stayed here for a night before an early flight from Manchester airport. They have a shuttle bus but we just walked it as it was easy to terminal 2 once you knew where you were going. Room was great with 2 double beds and we had a good night's sleep. Bathroom really needed some work, the sink enamel was all gone and looked terrible. Breakfast was included in our rate and was very good and available from 5.30am which was brilliant for an early flight. Would stay again. "

"This hotel is very good, room was spacious and comfortable. Our plans changed at the last minute with additional family members joining our stay, the staff there were great, they accommodated the additional members and at a sensible price. We are planning another trip to Manchester later this year and will definitely stay there again. "
