The University of Nottingham Sutton Bonington Campus, part of the University of Nottingham and one of the United Kingdom's prestigious Russell Group institutions, provides state-of-the-art learning facilities and is the home of the university's School of Veterinary Medicine and Science. You could also head a little further afield to the ancient city of Leicester, which still has parts of its original Roman walls and is the location of the National Space Centre and a beautifully preserved medieval Guildhall.
