I hadn’t booked a table to eat but they squeezed me in at the bar. My burger was delicious. They also had a great selection of local beers."

"Disappointed with the "extra" costs, for parking because the Hotel was booked through Expedia..!! The Car Park was empty, and only a handful of guests staying. Disappointed because I wanted to move my Booking by a Day earlier, but the Hotel was not very accommodating even though they were plenty of room availability... Only because we didn't book Direct with the Hotel and went through Expedia.. Would it really have made a difference...? At least you had paying guests...!! Dissatisfied Customer..."

The accommodation was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, reflecting the care and attention evident throughout our stay. Kirklands is an ideal place for exploring the Scottish borders, being a short, easy drive to the historic abbeys and homes (including Abbottsford) and other sites, monuments and walking trails. It is a truly magical place and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Scottish borders."
