"The location was great, facing towards the city centre while the river is out the back. Breakfasts were delicious with various selections as were the dinners. We went to their cozy bar every evening before dinner. Mostly, I enjoyed the old world atmosphere, especially the lovely sitting room. The staff was very professional yet very friendly. Our room was clean, comfortable and sizable. Loved the place!"

"Excellent stay overall. Our courtyard room was small but had everything we needed. The spa was a standout - loved the outdoor heated pool and sauna. Dinner at the bistro was excellent as was breakfast. It is expensive but worth it for a night or two getaway"

"The property was spotless clean, the staff was very helpful, the central location ideal. We loved the breakfast which provided many choices and was delicious. If we were to go back in that part of Scotland, I'd make sure to stay there again! We highly recommend it!"
