"Clean room, good helpful staff, 1st class breakfast and good accessible parking. No fridge or safe in room and kettle had a momentary failure. Instant hot water at sink and shower. Could do with 1 or 2 additional electric sockets. Hand soap would also have been welcome."

"Great location on the Market Square in Melrose. Easy walking to anywhere in town. Lots of dining choices or grab groceries at the Food Co-op, butcher or fishmonger and cook your own. Great bakeries as well. We would definitely stay here again if ever in the area. It worked out great for friends but would work equally well for a family."

"This was a great location for me to visit Galashiels. Its a lovely old manse building with nice clean big rooms and comfy beds. The owners of the guest house were on site, very friendly and welcoming. I had a sound night's sleep and woke to a lovely cooked breakfast with all the trimmings. I couldn't fault my stay. There is plenty parking but lots of free street parking nearby anyway so no issues there. I wouldn't hesitate to book again."

Disappointed because I wanted to move my Booking by a Day earlier, but the Hotel was not very accommodating even though they were plenty of room availability... Only because we didn't book Direct with the Hotel and went through Expedia.. Would it really have made a difference...? At least you had paying guests...!! Dissatisfied Customer..."
