Misleading photos of Signature room
We selected the Signature room and this hotel based on the photos on your website. It showed a very large room and very large bathroom. We paid extra over the Classic room based on the significantly larger room shown in the photos. The room we were given was much smaller than the photos. When we queried this with Reception it was explained that our room was bigger than a Classic. We appreciate there will be some variation in room size in an older hotel but there was a massive difference between the photos and reality which felt we had been misled. We asked about the room in the photos and were told this room had now been refurbished so was no longer a Signature room. This was disappointing as was the initial handling of our complaint. In the end we paid extra for a larger room. After this, everything else was good.
Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff. Had a lovely stay

stayed in room 20 definitely not one off there best room pillows and mattress good do with being changed very small room had to keep blind down as staff was outside on steps right outside the window could do with privacy glass !!
hotel it self amazing as always been here 5 times and will definitely be back but not to room 20 !
This place has a luxury feel as soon as you walk in. The spa is also ahead of many others in terms of luxury feel and facilities. We had a really lovely stay as six couples who left the kids at home for a night away to relax and unwind. Only a short walk down to the waterfront and into town too.
Superb service from every member of staff. Excellent spa facilities, spotlessly clean throughout. Every meal from breakfast to evening meal was wonderful.
Some of the staff were in their 20's but showed a level of service well beyond their ages. Great to see traditional standards of service still exist!
It was truly a pleasure to stay at Lincombe Hall.
A wonderful 7 nights at this former country hall hotel on a hilltop overlooking Torquay marina. A couple of initial housekeeping and room quality issues quickly resolved through a room change organised by Leo the duty Manager. Spa facilities are great and my wife had two massages, the small but adequate gym is well equipped. Food in the Brasserie was good and the breakfast service excellent. The hotel staff were very attentive and keen to help. All in all, a very nice and relaxing summer holiday break even if the weather (on this occasion) wasn't that great! Thoroughly recommended .
We enjoyed the service especially the treatment and the staff at the Spa.
The waitering staff were very attentive, friendly and the service was very good. Like to mention Alan in the Al a carte dining room on Friday 4th August. Very professional and made us feel at home on our first evening. The hotel reception staff were very helpful attentive from check in until when we left.
We would definitely consider coming back for a longer stay.
It’s not cheap. So please don’t charge £15 a day for parking. Some rooms although helpfully quiet have blocked views and unattached wardrobes along with tvs too high to watch. Staff, though, were very keen.
From the moment we arrived staff were friendly, helpful and informative. They had made sure we had a ground floor room with a walk in shower for my Mum who is disabled. The hotel is very well decorated and comfortable, with multiple areas to sit and relax. We ate in both restaurants and the food and service was extremely good. The spa is luxurious and there were plenty of loungers. I loved the Himalayan salt room and the ice room particularly but everything was good. Our bedroom was a Classic King and was very well appointed and spacious. All in all we had a lovely, relaxing 2 nights at Lincombe Hall hotel and Spa and we will definitely be coming back very soon. If you are looking for a luxurious and comfortable hotel with a laid back vibe but excellent service you need look no futher.
Very good, staff were polite, food and drinks were great, rooms were nice.
Great scenery, however the spa facilities were abit too much, as the steam would was not breathable.
Everything from start to finish was Amazing!
Staff were extremely attentive and very friendly
Spa Facilities were amazing.
Rooms were very comfortable
Food was amazing
Beautiful historic property renovated to contemporary design. Clean. Decor very tasteful. Everything was wonderful. Spa lovely. Gym small as expected but good use of space and well equipped and very clean.
Easy, convenient location. Walk down the hill to town/ Harbour. Would definitely stay there again!
Luxurious place and a decent price too! Amazing spa staff that made me feel very comfortable despite getting treatments for the first time. Overall, a relaxing solo trip!
Amazing Hotel & Spa. Our room #9 was lovely with lots of windows and a comfy bed. The staff are all skilled professionals and the spa facility is fabulous. We enjoyed 5 nights and would definitely go back.
Hotel is very nice, the staff are exceptional. My annoyance is the car park charge. Overnight stray was £117 plus a further £50 spent in the Brasserie, car park charge is extremely unfair. They are not a city centre location.

Really enjoyed our stay and the amazing spa facilities on a cold rainy weekend. Staff were very accommodating and welcoming. The rooms are a bit old, my room was lacking a few amenities and felt a bit pokey compared to the room my friends stayed in.
We really enjoyed our two night stay. The staff are friendly and professional, the spa facilities are great and.the room was comfortable.
Our room was cosy and nicely decorated but the shower room could do with a few minor repairs, such as re-tiling or at least re-grouting. It didnt really affect our stay but we did notice it, especially because the other areas are immaculate.

Lovey stay as always. The first room we were allocated was quite dark and smelt damp! (You could tell it had not been in use for a while) the shower room was very basic!
We paid £170 for the night so I asked to be moved as I did not feel the room was up to scratch. The receptionist was lovely and moved us straight away. The second room was absolutely fine.
The spa was amazing as always! Staff in the bar were very accommodating. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and couldnt do enough for us, 5 ⭐️ service.
Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. A lovely place to relax and unwind. All the communal areas have been recently refurbished and all the rooms have new beds and the rest of the rooms are on a schedule for refurbishment.
Overall a great place to stay.
